The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round fight which will be streamed live on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Success
However, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, frequently receiving massive earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and stated he would derail the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be my match with Fury next year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
